Several
years back we flipped houses. It was long before the days of
the TV show. At the time Housing was selling like wildfire. We
did get the Carleton Sheets program before we got started.
Didn't really help as that was geared more to getting rental
properties. We purchased most houses through a realtor and sold
most of them through the same realtor. We did most of the
renovation work ourselves and was a contractor that hired extra
help as we needed it. Formerly being a contractor it seamed to
be the best option.
Since
then we have owned other businesses. Selling stuff online was
one, some general contracting and even still own a scooter shop
to this day. I'm sure you can find it on the links page
somewhere. This is the first informational website we have ever
done. After watching Flip That House on TV and watching all the
poor saps that invest their life savings to end up losing
money, we felt that it was time to put a site up that
highlights some of the more important aspects of real-estate
house flipping. We don't have anything for sale on this site
yet, but I'm sure we will think of something to sell to help
pay for the site.
